The Project

For this project, my goal was to focus on visually conveying information. To do this, I decided on making posters for 3 of my favorite musical artists that showcase their achievements. My focus was using color blocking to separate the information and make it easy to absorb.

Research and Process

My first step was to make a list of artists that I would like to make infographics for and research them each to decide if I thought it would work. I tried to look for artists that had more of a consistent style that I could capture in the infographic.

I decided to pull the color schemes from the artists’ most popular albums covers to get a fixed color palette to stick to. Each artists that I chose had a different color scheme to give more separation between the posters.
